Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 2, 2026

Overview

haptora is a standalone Apple Watch app that communicates time through haptic pulses. This Privacy Policy explains how haptora handles your information — which, in short, is: it doesn't collect any.

No data collection

haptora does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no internet connection, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs. It works entirely on your device.

Local storage

haptora stores two small preferences on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism:

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone other than you.

No tracking or advertising

haptora contains no advertising, no tracking identifiers (including IDFA and IDFV), and no behavioral analytics. You are not profiled, segmented, or targeted in any way.

No account required

haptora does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

System permissions

haptora does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, health data, or any other system resource beyond what is needed to deliver haptic feedback on Apple Watch.

Children's privacy

Because haptora collects no data whatsoever, it poses no privacy risk to users of any age, including children.

Website analytics

This website (haptora.app) uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visitor traffic and engagement. This data is collected anonymously and is not linked to any personal identity. The haptora app itself contains no analytics whatsoever.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, this document will be updated and the Effective Date will reflect the change. The current version is always available at haptora.app/privacy.
